The fiddler, none other than "Mississippi" Watson Mcdowell. I know who coined the nick name but not sure why. he he he he Been picking since we was babies. he he he Seriously picking together with Watson and David "Earle" Crews, and Jerry "Lee" Lovelace for about 25 years, on the bluegrass thang. My own stuff such as "788 Blues" and others I think you've heard here, have been going on about 30 years.

Don't do the nature sounds PLEASE, the guitar is too good. Allthough I must admit, Ive thought of recording my neighbors Harley, and trying it in a song. We MUST be recording nuts!!!

Dtb, I love jazz and love the sound of an acoustic guitar, so how could I not love that song? That was really good. I was typing some work and put on #1 twice and really chilled with it. Great guitar playing. A little soft brush percussion in the background would put that song on Orlando's 103.1. Give us more!

clay, thanks friend, a lot of my own tunz have a jazz thing happening. I think maybe it's from playing scales. Something I began long, long ago. I'd play a little rythum thing and do scales to it and as I got more comfortable I start leaving out a few notes or adding a few and end up with some jazzy little tune. By time you do that with 2, 3, or 4 instruments, well you know.
