ok if i am a rapper and my friend made this beat and sent it to me....i go tto record over the beat and the beat is already mixed together so i am just doin vocals.....my vocals record at about-18 and -9 or so at the peaks....should i bring down the volume of the beat to match my vocals or eq my vocals to match the beat at the volume it is currently at?
