120v/240v on tube mic power supplies

Would there be any problems taking a mic I buy in the states to the UK and using since the power is 240v/50Hz? I would use a transformer for the conversion but Hz wont change.

The few tube mic supplies I have seen all had a 115/230V swith on them.

If there are some made for only 115V, I would think that minor variations in transformer voltage and effectiveness of filter caps for a line frequency of 50 Hz would be negligible, or controlled by the unit's voltage regulator.

I myself would not hesitate to plug one in and use it, but then, I don't mind destroying my equipment for the sake of curiosity.
