1 Million Thanks-Here is What I Bought

First of all, I want to say thank you everyone for all of your help. I went by this local computer store today and handed them the specs I got from your suggestions. This shop is a small one, with a great reputation, 1 year warranty, and available for consultation as needed on the computer. I know some of you will probably bite your lower lip as you read this, but you have to remember that I am a simple man, who thinks his wifes 3 1/2 year old Pavilion is a rocket ship. I was born way before the game era, so I have no interest in that stuff. I just want to be able to record my music and go online and post it. Although it may not be exactly what you suggested, please take some pleasure in realizing your posts gave me the courage to go out and buy this thing. I will be picking it up Fri. They build it on site. I will probably be back soon with a lot more questions.

That'll work quite well. The Celerons can be great little workhorses. The one in my notebook does a great job.
