1-inch 4 track heads manufacturers and retailers

Hi,

I would like to find some 1 inch 4 tracks erase, record and playback heads to replace the missing ones of my 1949 Telefunken T9. Since this particular model was made in extremely small quantity (less than 20, if not up to 10), I doubt that I will ever find the originals, and the head block already shows some changes to accomodate other heads (now missing).
Moreover, another idea is to determine the heads used in the later 1 inch model made by Telefunken and used at the EMI studios (Abbey Road).
Anyone knows where I could find these heads at reasonable prices ? I'm not looking for high end quality like on a Studer. I want to make an old 1949 machine work sometimes with minimal changes if possible.

Check with JRF Magnetic Sciences or Flux Magnetics. Sprague Magnetics may be another source.

May have used on hand or leads to used available, and both can make new. I would seriously not get your hopes too high of finding an affordable solution any way you slice it.

Looks like these guys will find my model, but the cost will be too high.
However a fellow suggested that I use Telefunken M10 heads, and guess what, the 1-inch M10 indeed used the exact same heads as my T9.
So I'll try to find a block somewhere (and the connectors too.....).
