hi again...i still work with 4-track...now i have tascam 424 mkIII with dbx. I know dbx compresses and reduces noise...right?
So if i recor with dbx...and then mix...do i still need the dbx activated? And if i mix with cool edit pro do i have to play the trax (to get them into the computer) also...
hi dudes...i have an equal question...i`ve got portastudio 424mkIII(4 track analog) ...the tascam folks say put the fader to 7 (and master , too). And you say 0 for fader will be better, is that right? What about master-faders? is 7 ok?
Thank you for your reply. O.K. i do know how to do it...and my biggest question on you is...are there any kind of tricks or whatever...i mean you do the cep for long time and you know what a good audio should have(to let them sound good...on a big as well as on a small stereo whatever- player)...

Tascam 424 mkIII(analog)....L/R line outputs (chinch) and Tape Outputs(chinch....one chinch for every track (1-4/Sync)). So i guess i`d better use the tape outputs to get each track on cool edit....right?
