im running SX3 W/ tascam us-428 my default project set up 1. 24bit record / 44.1 sample rate everytime i open my saved project there always popup saying " sample rate has changed" then when i play the project it plays in a real fast tempo in a higher pitch what is causing this

im using cubase sx3 im having trouble when i record a track from my mic i get small waves my soundcard is (tascam us-428) and my mic is (MXL9000)is there a setting in cubase to get more signal from my mic need help ASAP
