I'm using an el-cheapo 233mhz pc clone machine to access the web. One minute I was hearing downloaded sound files, and now I can't even get my CDs to play. not even Microsofts Cd player will work. Any wizards out there with some advice? Thanx.....Hitman.:confused:

can anyone tell the difference between a drum (any drum) with only 8 lugs as opposed to 10 lugs on pro level kits? Normally pro snares and kik drums have 10 lugs. But my starclassics only have 8. Does anyone (with the super accurate hearing) know of a difference in sound under the mics? just...

Is there an economical way to reproduce the sound of a drumset through the preamps of a neve board. aside from buying a $250,000 board? Are there any multiple preamps rack units to fatten up the sound before it hits my computer?

looks like its just us. we finally got our's workin to some degree. Turn off all local midi. And start reading, reading, reading. I personally read while i'm on the toilet bombing terrorist groups and during playbacks. It's amatter of assigning each sound source to a different midi channel...

Spaeking from experience I love these drums...when the stay in tune. You might have to invest in some lug locks. HITMAN.
