    My first song with vocals...

Oh, teddie, BTW, the drums are from Fruity Loops with lots of verb. The decay of the cyms are just me being lazy, I should have put the drums on two tracks so I could let the cyms ring out. And those toms in retrospect are def anoying, but I made the drum track first with headphones, which made...

    My first song with vocals...

Thanks for the comments. Its hard for me to put vocals in since I really for one can't sing and the environment I record in, I whisper more than anything. But for me, I like vocals in a song since it rounds it out, and I get very tired of instrumentals. I originally had the vocals dead...

    My first song with vocals...

Well, I just tracked my first song with vocals. Like most of my songs and others on mp3.com I just do instrumentals, but got tired and wanted a "real" song. Take a listen, and tell me if I suck. BTW, its a bit DefToney.. http://www.mp3.com/fadley/

    For the greatest mix..

Not! My friend and I have been working on the stuff for the last six months, seems like we do really quick songs and don't much thought into the mix. Any suggestions? Listen to "The Remains".. http://www.mp3.com/fadley/

    Deftones Bass

They seem to do a lot of 10k and 1k roll off... and hard panning of a miced bass? There albums always technically sound amazing. [This message has been edited by SirBroch (edited 05-30-2000).]

Cool edit pro plugins and sound card

What I did was get a tascam 414 4 track and hook it up to my sound card. So I can play with a friend, i directly plug him into a track and me into a track.. but can't separate going into the computer live, so maybe this is not a good solution for you.. I also like to record a session to tape...
