Hello, I am currently recording my electric guitar directly in to my Universal Audio Apollo Twin interface. I am wondering, is there anything that I can plug my guitar into before it goes into my apollo twin that would make it sound even better than it already does? Any suggestions?

PLEASE HELP. I was editing my vocals in melodyne in logic pro, when randomly, something got switched and changed my track to polyphonic. Now instead of notes, it shows number on the far left, and I can't edit the pitch of anything. I dont know what I did to change this, and I can't figure out...

I am buying four free standing super chunk bass traps and four 3 inch thick acoustic panels. All 4 ft. Tall. Any ever just surround themselves with panels and bass traps, with them just standing up on the ground when recording acoustc guitar or vocals?

Right now I'm peaking at 0DB before adding any effects. All I've changed is the volume of the tracks. It sounds way quieter than other examples that ive heard of peoples unmixed beats if I bring the volume down any more. What DB should i be peaking at before mixing? And, what am I doing wrong here?

Does anyone ever lower the volume on one note in a beat that overlaps with a kick/808, in order to make the kick shine through? I am thinking about doing this with a guitar part. Will this technique help? If not? HOW DO I MAKE MY KICKS SHINE THROUGH THE MIX WITHOUT BRINGING THE ENTIRE BEAT OVER...

I just bought a Neumann TLM 102. Super excited, and I want to take good care of it. What is the best way to store my mic while its not in use? Do I need to unplug it and put it back in the box between recordings?

Will it fit? And if it fits, will it sound good?

Just looking for some suggestions for the best bass traps to put in the corners of my small bedroom home studio. Ive heard that panels are better than foam. Would love to hear some opinions on that as well. Thanks!

I bought some acoustic foam from guitar center. It came with 12 standard foam panels and 12 bevel foam panels. The guy at guitar center told me that the bevel foam would act as a bass trap. I am starting to question whether that was true. Do both of these acoustic foam shapes do the same thing...
