Hey guys... I just got Sonar, and for some reason absolutly no audio is coming out...It records it and the levels are showing but no sound is coming out of my monitors. I have a Sound Blaster Live! soundcard, and Sonar is registering it as having 3 outputs. I dont know if that has anything...

Ive been using pro-audio 9 for a while now, and I recently got myself a copy of Sonar...I did the upgrade, and tried to record with it...but everything is really soft...Im doing it the same way I did it in Pro-Audio 9, but it doesnt have any volume to it... Thanks in advance for the help.

Just how essential are bass drum mics...should I buy the Beta 52 or should I go for Carvin's cheaper bass drum mic's...I have been pleased with Carvin's stuff in the past...but I dont know if the bass drum mic they have is any good...Am I going to hear any differance between the two anyways? Im considering buying a Tascam US-428...I wanted something like the M-Box or the Digi 001 with a mixer, so I think the 428 will be my best choice without having to buy the more expensive 002... But I do have one problem with the 428...two XLR inputs...and I need at least 8 to record a full drum...
