Tascam US-428 and Stuff

I have a question about recording a full drum set...I want to be able to set up 6-8 mics, but the TASCAM US428 only has 2 XLR inputs...Is there a easy way of using all those mics without having to buy a bigger board? I hope there is a easy answer for this...

not really since the 428 can only record 4 ins at a time.

you'll have to create a drum mix and record the drum mix to a stereo master.

the bad thing is that you can't adjust the volume of the individual instruments since you recorded them mixed.

the good news is that with a multiband compressor you can get some control since the major frequencies of the different drum pieces have good separation.
