I think you should just go ahead and try out the guitars you want, be it an Epiphone or a Squier. Ive played some great squiers and Epiphones and was totally shocked by how great they play. Dont judge the book by its cover! Sorry I didnt really answer your question, but good luck. Matt

YO, Is there any difference with Cabs that have the same speakers in them? For example, would a Laney 4x12 with Vintage 30's sound the same as a Mesa 4x12 with vintage 30's? Ive been searching for a new Cab for awhile and Mesa stuff is just so expensive. Any suggestions? Matt

Yo, Does anyone here mess around with open tunings at all? I think they put a nice spin on guitar and help to change things up a little. When I get bored of messing around in standard, I usually go into open C or open G minor and it makes the guitar seem really fresh. Peace, Matt
