I'd like to hear from someone who owns these. Would like to use a matched pair on fingerstyle acoustic...I read that they are the balls. Is it true... and if so...what pre would be nice. All big bucks, I know, but I may just be able to swing it (if I get enough "good" opinions!) Thanks

Elixir Nanos...Not too brassy and not too sweet. Nice and quiet on the recorder. They stay in tune and last forever. They came on my Morgan Dread standard. I'll never lust for any other.

My 4040 is just super on acoustic guitar...don't sing so I can only speak for it instrumentally. I park it a foot in front of sound hole with an NT3 at fret 12 and acoustic bliss...

I've got 2 brand new in boxes unmatched 603's I decided I don't need. Paid 198. for them...will let go for 150. Was gonna put on Ebay but kinda pain in the ass. Also have a couple of used ARTv3's like new.
