i recently used a delta44 along with a mobile pre to record drums with 6 channels. make sure that they don't record out of sync and if they do try to fix that before you plan on recording any bigger projects with a two interface setup.

i have a delta44 with the omni breakout box. you can record up to four track simultanously with it. i've never even had the slightest latency problems with it. even when i recorded 4 tracks.
