FYI sweetwater has a misprint in their 2004 gear catalog AND in their computer system, which obligates them to the misprinted price on the Novation KS-4 of $799... That's $200 cheaper than anywhere on the market. BTW places like GC will price match... How sweet it is. Already got mine!:D

An ms2000 or micro korg are the most fun you can have with a synth, for the money as far as I know. And they definitely both have weird sounds... What kind of music do you want to make? And do you know the difference between analog / virtual analog and sample based synths?

Spysweeper!!! I paid $29.95 for a 1 yr subscription and it updates itself every 2-3 days. I know there's free stuff out there, but the people I know that use it still get bullshit slipping through. Spysweeper works very well. It's worth every penny... I'm highly satisfied with it...
