Cool guys. Does anyone own the ST 55 from Sterling??? The dudes from guitarcenter love this mic...is it because they get more money for selling these things? the perception comes with a nice case too...i still need some more opinons! = )

I can never layer guitars together on time or in synch. Its always off by a second. Is there something i can do to fix this problem? I'm using Cubase SX 2 and just using an old soundblaster card. thanks alot.

well im pretty good at playing in time. However, there is a delay when i do just by a hair though. Sorry what is latency? I hear it all the time. I have a soundblaster soundcard old skool. As for the first track i recorded the guitar to a metronome. 100bps. So that was my guideline. I didnt...

Hello, everyone. For some reason when i layer guitars one on top of another they never come out in the same timing. Keep in mind i never set the tempo i guess could that be? I'm kinda of new at recording so i want to know what would be the easiest way to make sure everything will sync up...

That is awesome. I only use a G7th. I have a like 10 capos. I try messing with the partial capos...but i dont really find them any use yet. Maybe if im writing and something comes to mind i will know it will work.

yeah the one i played was a squire affinity. It sucked. That's why the ibanez was so much better to me. I know there are different versions of the squire so I will have to look into that today at a different music store.

just as an update i played a few different basses and I really did like the ibanez. More tone knobs than the squier. Squier was cheap sounding to me..it was ok.

hey to be honest i have stretched them...I usually dont. Figured by the 4th day they would be good to go. I will do that tonight. I find them really brigh on my acoustic. the description for the acoustic strings are: Premium acoustic guitar phosphor bronze wrap on a hex core.

So i always wanted to try this brand out, and I did. There still on the guitar, but i notice they never stay in tune. I really DO NOT like them at this point...maybe I should stick it out let them sit on the guitar for a little bit. Any others think they suck? this is acoustic strings too.
