Well here's an example of what I have got till now.. Using: Opus 83 & Collins ?? on overhead Shure SM57 on snare AV Jeve tom clip mics on toms...d'oh.. AKG D112 on bass drums... curious what you think..I layed this down fairly quick so there is some "unbalanced" drumming going on...no warm up...

If anybody can help...that would be really cool. Does anybody know how to cut some of the snare out of the overheads? I don't have much control over my snare sound due to the overheads? I use cubase sx on mac.. Do I maybe need to do some eq'ing on it? Or cut some stuff out? and how? Next to...

I record every my drums acousticly...and yes I play metal. Than after that I make a mix of the bass drums and say port 50% acoustic & 50% triggers/drumagog...for the click... I play with a felt beater to have for that 50% a nice low fat sound instead of a lot of mid as a rubber/wood...

I was at the shop a couple of days ago and played on a Roland kit setup with a TD10 sound module on it...and man THAT SOUNDED SWEET for electronic drums. BUT..since I allready have a really nice acoustic kit i'll keep it with that. But my question is: I went through some presets and bumped on...

I got with lots of luck my hands on 2 MD421's! Both for my kicks (double bass 22x18). They work fine..but I still need to experiment with them...to see what they really can go up to. Never tried any other (home)recording wise tho! Live I've used beta91 & d112 both sounded great live.

Hello, I have the following question. I run Cubase SX 2 on Mac I have Motu 1224 running 8 channels recording into that. I'm no looking into a proper DAW control / control surface. What could you advice me? The Mackie Control device? Or one of the Tascams? Or the Behringer one? I didn't find...

Ok..well here's the deal If you could pick any microphone up to a $1500. Preferbly 2 mics offcourse for overheads on the drums. But then on the same time it would be nice if they/it could be used on recording vocals. I'm having a good trade deal soon..and I'm curious what you would go for...

Hé ! I like it..love the voice..nice solid beat behind it. Tho try not to let the drums sound so "mechanic" as in the intro part with the snare. I also like the mix.

I'm not talking about the drumming, cause that was without any click and just a jam I was doing :) is was purely with my mind on recording not really on getting a proper drum...
