    The First Night

Very nicely done man. I think I got version 2 where the drums seemed a little upfront. I can't find a thing wrong with this other than that in the cans at work. This is a nice song and sounds great. I think I need to dl version 3 and add this to the keepers folder. Very nice job and very...

    Hey moskus...

    6. The original has obvious vocal doubling in the choruses. That might be an interesting effect. I have never been very successful at doubling vocals, but I might give it a shot here. :D

    Hey moskus...

    5. Oh...yeah...one other thing I forgot. Vocal ad libs need to be added to the outro of the song ;) :D.

    Hey moskus...

I've given this a lot of spins today while I was working. This is really turning out nice. Here are some observations so far: 1. Ped's bass line is killer. It really sets a nice groove. I'm diggin' it immensely. Good work!!!! 2. Those Dachay's sure are tight!! Man!!! As I listened to this...

    Hey moskus...

Thanks Bill :D. Vince has a pretty sweet voice to be sure. You guys are going to get me seriously back into singing again yet!! I won't be attempting to track the final vocal take for at least a week. Probably longer. Better figure two weeks. I have a cold right now and my Mom is coming to...

"No you're not my father!!!!", he screamed just before his tounge was severed by the light saber. He helplessly watched it fall into the abyss.

    Hey moskus...

 I gotta say, I passed this around to a few people here in the office and it's a big hit already. Just wait unitil it's all done!!! I got told by one girl that I sing better than Vince Gill. Well, that's debatable, but now if I could only play guitar half as well as he does, I'd be in...

Hey guys. I put a copy of the mixed result at my webspace. I think the link should work, but I can't test it at work (can't dl mp3 files). Have at it and let me know if it works or not. :D http://home.comcast.net/~jagular/songs/

Sonar 3.0 Producer / Studio - big difference?

Sheeesh!!! I just upgraded from PA9 to Sonar 2.2xl a few months ago  But the Ultrafunk stuff & Lexicon Reverb really has me tempted to do another upgrade

Finished plus collab with Ian Warnock

No shit!!!! I should have asked Erland to sign it before he mailed it :D These CD's are absolutely fabulous. I listened to disc one on Friday on the way home in my car. Listening to disc 2 now at work. This is good stuff and enjoyable to listen to without knowing anything else about it...

YEEEEHAW!!!! It's starting to sound like a song :D And yeah...I figured out how to get in the briefcase (first time I've been there) so Dach's uncle doesn't have to come break my knees :D. Sounding purrddy good!!!

    I like envelopes

Re: Re: I like envelopes Heh :D I don't think PA9 had envelopes. I upgraded to Sonar a few months ago and since that time have only done very simple things and no need for the envelopes. Just simple whole track volume adjustments. Of course I knew they were there from hanging around here...

    I like envelopes

Well...in doing mixes of my own guitar/vocal demos/scratch tracks, it was pretty much set the levels at the begining of the song and let it go. Petty simple mixing :D. I just recently started to do quite a bit of vocal work for different folks (freebies ;)) and posting up more complicated mixes...

Hey Sam...this is fantastic. You really have a creative ear when it comes to music. I think you have a sound that is all your own and could be quite well identified with you. IMHO of course. You are very talented man. Nice work. Sounds too good for these ears to find anything wrong.

    'been a while

Man Ken...you have been putting out some real nice stuff lately. Sounds too good to me to have any mix comments from my cans at work. Just needs a lead something or other in there to make it complete. This sounds very nice.

Hey guys. This was fabulous. I can’t find anything to suggest on this from the at work cans. Very nice collab gentlemen. A keeper for sure.
