i have some drum tracks i recorded with some silence at the beginning. i would like to erase the silence and have the tracks slide back to the beginning, but i can't figure out how to do this...? thanks :] -mike

not sure about other mics, but for bleed, have you tried just physically moving the symbols further away from the snare than you would normally have them? i know thats probably pretty obvious, and you probably know way more about recording than me...but sometimes people overlook stuff like...

oh and progger, i'm pretty sure you could make your own click track pretty easily. i haven't messed with this yet, and i'm not good with terminology, lol, but try recording a little noise like snapping your fingers or whatever, quantize it to 1/4 notes, and paste it over and over again for a few...

yeah... you can try setting up the kit with the symbols lower than normal, and further back, so the overheads pick up the toms with a little more level than normal.
