Could You Recommend Studio Headphones

I am doing recoridng in my home and have been using some cheap headphones that no longer equal the quality of my recording equipment(I just updated). Could you recommend a studio headphone in the $50 dollar range that would eliminate the outside sounds as much as possible? Thanks! Walter

Those might work.

Those are very nice, as are Sennheiser 280 pros. You won't find either for $50, though.

actually, i think i saw a post saying someone found em for $60 somewhere online. i'd do a search on harmony-cenrtal.com but i'm too lazy :]

Thanks for all the advice. I learned a lot. I play pretty quiet, and need good sound reproduction. I decided to go with the
Sony MDR 7506. THanks Walter
