The guitars were 2 tracks of a peavey jsx and 6505 cab. and 2 of the jsx with a mesa 2x12. one 57 right up on the grill into an avalon ad2022. that part just kinda came out that way, I didn;t really do anything to be honest.

i've been considering buying the m201 for awhile now. how does that and an sm57 compare? is good for any other applications?

I own these too, they will always be on my kit. as for the AAX crash, have you checked out the explosions? great cymbals.

the 166xl was my first piece of outboard gear. I like it for bass, kick and heavier vocals. I prefer to use the waves rcomp for snare and clean vocals. overall, for the price, it was definately worth it.

I enjoy my C2.

I actually used sound replacer originally, but on some songs the kid plays fast snare rolls and fills and it sounded just horrible with the sample. So we went back to the original track. If anything I'll end up using SR on the toms. I'll play with this a bit tonight and post the outsome...
