I am trying to put my Epi LP back together. I don't have any wire to go to the toggle switch or output jack. If I were to go to Radio Shack what kind of wire should I pick up? I was looking at what they had and I figured my best bet was 22 gauge single conductor. Would that be fine? Should...
I personally thing your best option is one of the nice single channels others have suggested and a nice distortion pedal. That would probably get you the most bang for your buck.
Yea I might be in denial about how it sounds too, I just went back and listened. I'm thinking about posting it up somewhere so everyone can tell me how bad it is. I definitely must have known nothing about gain staging or clipping at all for that matter. It sounds like I let it clip and then...
That isn't necessarily true. My first recordings were taping the band with a camcorder and importing the audio to CEP. These were repugnant. The next ones were an SM57, a karaoke mic, maybe an sm58, and some radioshack mics into an old powered mixer which was wired into an onboard sound card...
Has anyone ever used a set of these electronic drums?

They sell really cheap on eBay. I can't really find many reviews but they look like a Roland clone. I was hoping they could be like the Studio Projects of E-drums or something.
I just need a...
Yea, those are just the reason I haven't picked anything up for drums yet. I will be a lot more apt to like something at this price. Too bad they aren't letting anyone order them right now.
I may pick them up, drums are the only thing that I have nothing for right now. I like AKG C414s for over head and some big expensive sony broadcasting mic for kick, the toms and snare I can get good sounds from a lot of cheaper mics. I don't think I'll be able to afford two C 414s and...
Most of the reviews I read said the Three Q is pretty uncolored without the EQ and compressor on, so I figured it would give me some flexibility. This is my first personal setup, but I do have a bit of experience with SSL consoles and some high end pres and mics, so I am sure I will be a bit...
I went with the Lightbridge and Behringer because I wanted to start out with at more than 2 pres at a low price while still being able to use Pro Tools. I bought them both refurbished so it was a very low price while still being under a full warranty.
I ended up getting a Joe Meek ThreeQ...
I just ordered this for my first setup.
