I have to suggest that you look at the FAQ: http://www.hr-faq.org That's my job, you see. There's a little more on there than has already been said regarding mic purchasing for drum sets, but it's a good newbie read anyway.

That's awesome. hr-faq has gained inter-site popularity! After all that work, nothing makes me feel better than to see the FAQ gain that kind of respect it is beginning to get. And it can only get better. Of course, thanks to the BBS as a whole for the knowledge that made the FAQ possible...

Hi Arcy. It's FAQ guy. I'm not sure what parts you've read so far, but I don't think you've read enough yet. The site is completely composed of quotes from this very BBS. Many mics have both positive and negative reviews from qualified, experienced members. If you find a slant on the FAQ...

Hey, I posted the alert a couple of months ago. I personally like the RS mics, but I'm used to shit, so I can't say they have anything on the e604 or any other Sennheiser mic. But for $15, what do you expect? Just a bit cheaper than a Sennheiser...if anything, they definitely have a place on...
