all right, thanks. I also play rock and stuff like that too though. I play lots of different styles. I guess I need a good all around bass. Any more suggestions?

Is the sub bass good for a funk sound too? I play a lot of blues too and if I get a bass I know I will be playing some funk and slap bass, but blues also. Would this be a good bass for me?

well like I said when I had a crackeling problem the solution was to switch out the power tubes.

well those mics will be fine. I have used those overheads and they are kind of cheap, but they work all right. I know that they pick up a lot. I once tried to record vocals with them and you could hear people whispering upstairs.:eek: It was nuts!!! :D To solve the problem with the kick I...

I just had a problem with a crackle sound with my tube amp. I put new preamp tubes in and that didn't solve the problem, but when I put new power tubes in the problem went away. Give more information about the sound and when it happens and maybe we can figure out what is going on.
