    Sounds like what you need is better isolation. I recorded a live gig and used good isolation techniques and had a tremendous drum sound. The drum volumes were so much higher than the bleed that it wasn't an issue.

    I am tracking in Digi001. I recorded 6 tracks of drums... kick, snare, combined the toms to one track, 2 overheads, and high hat. After getting it down, I tried messing with the gates on the mics. It really takes away the liveliness. You need a little bleed from mic to mic to get a good sound...
