I'm curious exactly how the Aux sends/returns are laid out on this board? I've read a lot about it, and it seems that there are only 2 available at mixdown. Could someone explain this to me a little more. Also, are there any workarounds that you guys have found to get past this problem? Thanks!

I found a site on the web called www.foambymail.com that has great prices on foam. It looks just like Auralex foam ( and has a close NRC) but I'm curious if it's the same stuff? If you have bought from this company, how was your experience? BTW, this is NOT a plug for these guys!

I need some good patch cables. I would make my own...BUT, it would be more expensive and a whole lot more time consuming (imagine soldering 50 to 100 cables...no thanks) than just buying them. So what should I get? Are Rean or AP audio patch cables any good? Don't tell me Hosa!!! :) Thanks.

I'm doing a little test of various mics on a tom (including a radioshack 33-3032) and I threw my pro25 up and all of the sudden it's distorting. I haven't dropped it or anything. I'm also not clipping the signal, so I'm assumming it's the mic. What's up?

I'm looking for a console in the home studio price range (we'll say under $5000) that has polarity switches. I don't understand why these aren't implemented on all consoles??? It should be an easy thing to do right? Any guidance is appreciated!

Ok, here's the deal...I got 100' of Canare Star Quad for Christmas (thanks mom) and cut it into 25' foot lengths. The only problem was that 3 were 25' and one was 24'...Now of course this isn't a huge deal but I'm curious; do they plan on you putting connectors on them to make up for lost...

What are the advantages (or disadvantages) of putting overheads behind the drummer as opposed to in front of the kit? Are there any reasons other than capturing more toms and less cymbals?
