I have an old peavey cab with a switch to change between 8ohm-"stereo" or 16 ohms-"mono". Can I assume that if the switch is in the 8 ohm position, I will be running two 16 ohm speakers wired in parallel=8ohms? Stupid question time~ would it be easily tested with a multimeter?

Mesa owners ~ How many of you have had a bias potentiometer installed on your Mesa? If you have not had a bias pot installed, do you use the tubes supplied/tested by Mesa? Where else might you have you bought tubes from?

Stupid V30 question; I am now the proud owner of a mesa single rectumfrier, and an avatar G212h special. This seems to imply that the cab is rated @ 60 watts. If the V30 handles 60 alone, is it not cumulative? Should it handle 90 watts, or close to it?
