In my DAW set up app I can select whatever sample rate I want, I have the clocking set to internal, and when I open cubase SL 3 it automatically changes it back to 44100...It gives me the message "The sampling rate has been changed to 44100khz." How can I get it to take the sample rate I tell it to?

Im getting intermitent pops and clicks in some tracks I'm recording. I've exchanged mic cables, checked connections and everything seems to be in place. I haven't had this problem until just today and I'm in the middle of a session. Ideas anyone?

So about a week ago, I opened itunes on my mac to listen to some music as I normally would through my tascam fw-1184 board. When I hit play, nothing happened, and the cursor just stayed there. I restarted the computer and things went back to normal. Now, when I press play the same thing happens...
