I just fired up Adobe Audition, using an Echo Mia soundcard. I can monitor the playback of a recording using the original soundblaster card. How can I hear what the input sounds like before and during the recording process?????

I've been trying to bring up the Audiomasters forum over the past day or two. It was supposed to remain as an alternative to the new Adobe forum for Audition/CEP. Has it been shut down, or is it unavailable for some other reason? The Adobe forum isn't as user friendly as I'd like. Comments?

When I was a radio guy, I always used the K240 cans. Great sound, lightweight, and no feedback when working close to the mic. The new ones I picked up at GC the other day say "600 ohm" on the box, and the word "monitor" is appended to the "K240". How great an issue is this different impedance...
