I had ableton live 8.1.2 and i had a ton of instrument sounds and effects that didnt transfer over when i updated to ableton live 8.2.1. any ideas how to get them over there?

when I go into note mode on my APC20 every row is one note (say like C#) and I want each button to be a different note. how do I change that? and how do I assign a button to a specific thing like if im playing a drum beat i assign bass to this note ride to that note, etc....

In my ableton live 8 it only allows me 8 audio/midi effects in one live session. Why? how do I fix this? is there a way around this?

I have a novation launchpad and Ableton Live 8. Say if I wanted to get another launchpad and it wasn't an Ableton one, would Live 8 still be compatible with my new sequencer/launchpad?

When ever I hit one my my electronic drum heads it makes a weird noise after the sound has passed. Its an electronic-y sound thats static mixed with a screeching-ish noise. should i be concerned or is it normal for drums?

Does anyone know how you can record music on sony acid 7? i mean with out actual insturments, just on the computer. I've heard you can but I can't seem to do it with the soft synth DLS they have on there, please help.

How do I record with a light snake? I plug it into my piano in the line out plug then into my computers USB port but i don't know what to do next. I click record on audacity but audacity just says problem opening sound device.

If i connect an electric drumset to a PA system then the PA to any kind of amp could I still possibly blow the amp if it is not sufficient for electric drums.
