New Song: I Want A Father

This was kind of a rushed recording. I was trying to get done before the grandkids showed up to visit. :D This is a song I wrote about growing up without a father. Something I know a little about. Here is the link if you care to listen: Song: I Want A Father <>< George

New Song on a New Keyboard

I got a new keyboard and I tried it out on a new worship song I wrote. I bought this keyboard (Yamaha PSR-2100) just for songwriting. If you care to check it out, here's the link: None Like You <>< George

The Wise Men's Journey - A Christmas Instrumental

I recorded this several years ago on a Yamaha 4 track cassette recorder, using a Peavy DPM-3 keyboard. I dug it up out of the archives. If nothing else it is a good example how not to record an instrumental. But it's almost Christmas, so what the heck, here it is. When I finished recording and...

    Due to the honest feedback....

....I came back for more. Here is another song I wrote called "Does Anybody See You". Does Anybody See You I did boost the kpbs from 128 to 144 on this song when I encoded. Of course I'm new at this, but it did sound better to me when I listened to it on the internet. But I did notice that I...

First time to post songs here

Don't know how I did it, but I uploaded a couple of songs on NoWhereRadio. I don't see much of their type of lyrical content in the songs posted here but that's cool. This is my first attempt in working with mp3's on the internet. I understand why there is a difference in sound quality between...

    Question??

I'm not sure what to do about copyrighting an original song that has one chorus of a public domain song toward the end of it. Anybody have any ideas or experience with this sort of thing? <>< George

In the group I'm in, we've completed 3 seperate CD projects over the last 2-1/2 years. We have 3 songwriters in the group, including myself. I'm looking into registering the songs I've written from all 3 CD projects. Can I put all those songs on 1 CD and register them all together or must I...

I loaded SONAR XL onto my new computer that came with SB Live sound card. When I went through setup in Sonar and it recognized the sound card and automatically set the audio output as mono. But the SB Live is supposed to be full duplex. What gives??? <>< George

Good for playback, but what about mixing?

A friend of mine works in a local radio station. While I was visiting him he was doing some work in one of the sound rooms. On that computer they were using MONSOON MM-702 monitors. The sound was great on all the songs being played. But what I'd like to know is if anyone has had experience using...
