I have some CD's with drum and rhythm patterns, each lasting about 20 seconds. What do I need to do to record and 'loop' a pattern from the CD? Mind you, I don't do computer! Thanks for any help!

I'm recording to a cassette deck from an analog multitrack. On one particular song where an electric guitar thru a signal processor is the prominent instrument, I keep getting what I can only describe as a distorted ringing artifact following every single note. When I'm mixing I cannot hear it...

I have a 424 Mark III and am wondering if I'm missing pages from t he manual. Is anyone else confused by the manual's failure to address how to 'insert' dynamics processors (EQ, compressor, etc.)? It covers effects devices but not the other?

I'm using a 4-tracker with one 'send' and one 'return' going to a compressor during mixdown. What would be the difference between going 'mono' or 'stereo' if I'm using only one set of send/returns?

I am mixing down from a multitrack cassette console to a 2-track cassette deck. Which Dolby setting do I need to use?--B,C, or S? HX Pro is automatically set. I'm using the same Maxell high bias tapes I use in the multitrack. Thanks!
