i picked up a mim reissue 70s strat the other day ... natural body, maple fret board ..... great sounding playing guitar .... great price .... anyone care to comment on these ??

i played a bunch of gibson's this am at gc ..... all of there set up's suck ..... action way too high ... intonation off .... curved necks .......sharp frets..... they all played like crap ..... are they not set up at the factory ?? does no one inspect them ???? and the guys at gc say they are...

i just picked up a made in japan strat $400 ... anyone have any input on these ??

problem was that friggin vol knob .... i was hitting it constantly ... it was in the worse place possible ... i tried changing my playing style to avoid it .. but i just could not play it as fast as i should ........ so i ordered a new pickguard from warmoth ... sss vintage 8 hole white pearl...

i have a ampeg vh-140c guitar head through a crate 4/12 cab. it has been working great for years... till the other night. now when i turn it on i can barely hear my guitar. even w/ the volume up all the way... if i turn it off and on a few times it is ok ... and is cool for the rest of the night...

does any one else feel the same way about there les paul ??
