I am sure it has been covered before but can someone tell me how to enable it in Reaper please? I am trying to get a Korg nanokontrol to work.
My son in France has very recently discovered that Reaper is much more useful for MIDI work than Samplitude Pro X3 which he is very familiar with.

Dave.

See if this helps :

Thank you good sir, I shall give that a go. I did find some other YTs on the subject but this old fart is not good with videos* I am much happier with reading stuff.

*I find the rambling, unscripted nature of most YTs just pisses me off and I don't concentrate..."WHEN THE F are you going to get to the *&^%G POINT!!"

Dave.

That's also my gripe with most YouTube how-to vids. I tried reading the manuals, guides and other downloads from the product page and they were zero help for Reaper. There's very little to read in them.
______________

Clarification : I tried reading the manuals, guides and other downloads from the Korg NanoKontrol 2 product page and they were zero help for Reaper. There's very little to read in them.

Yes, I was very surprised that there is no "Reaper for Dummies"? The DAW has been around a long time and must have millions of users.

Well, there is - kind of. When you go to the Reaper page and click on videos, then go to the bottom right and click 'expand all categories', all of Kenny Gioia's tutorial videos are listed. There are some very basic starter videos which are very helpful. Kenny doesn't beat around the bush with his presentations, he gets on point and stays there.
