New RE20 smell

I recently ordered a new EV RE20. While I’m digging the sound, as soon as I opened up the packaging, I noticed a really strong smell, sorta like Bengay or some other muscle relaxing cream. I’m assuming its just something related to the manufacturing process, but I have never heard anyone mention that before. Anyone here noticed a strong smell on a new RE20?
 
You sure it's not the foam? My EV doesn't smell now, but I'd have thought I'd have noticed it when new?
 
I bought one within the last year and I don't remember there being a smell
