Has there been a single new poster from the LA Film school or wherever doing their assignment who has come back here after the initial post? I mean in a new thread.

Nope. Wish I could write to the professor lol

I was just curious about the LA Film School. Seems to be quite a pricey affair. An Audio Production associate degree is 5 semesters at a cost of almost $40,000. A BS degree is 9 semesters with a cost of over $72,000. That applies to both onsite and online programs. The most expensive program is a Bachelor degree in Film Production at $91,600 on campus.

I'm sure a lot of these folks are doing all this on student loans. Then when they end up with a job serving burgers and fries at the drive through because they can't get a job in their field of study, they'll be crying about their massive debt. Then legislators will declare it a debt crisis, and start passing bail out legislation.

Yeah, the higher education system is screwed up!

I am of the strong opinion that if a country wants a well educated professional workforce the country should pay for it out of taxes.
Student loans came to UK about 35 years ago? Since then we have always had employers complaining they cannot find graduate level engineers, scientists and IT people. Those students that made it through to a degree went into the City to pay off their debt. Many as you say took low paid jobs so the country looses both the skills and the money!

Dave.
