The Anti-Lambo
Indeed. How well things go when a strong president is inaugurated, and how poorly for a weak one. The Iranian hostages were handed to us with ribbons and red carpet on the day the peanut farmer stepped down, and a real president came forward. What a difference:
Nonsense. Carter negotiated the freeing of the hostages entirely. Reagan did absolutely nothing. Iran returned the hostages at the end of Carter's Presidency out of spite towards Carter. They didn't give a fuck about Reagan.
Your nonsensical partisan theory that Iran was scared of Reagan is utterly obliterated by the fact that during Reagan's Presidency Iran took even more American hostages. As a direct result, Reagan appeased Iran in ways Carter refused to - by illegally giving them access to American weapons in exchange for hostages. This is known as the Iran contra scandal. 11 members of the Reagan administration were convicted as a direct result.
