hey, how is everyone doing ?
i just upgraded from logic 9 to logic x and wondering if the waves special on the ssl 4000 bundle is worth it. i tried the demo but when i did my life became busy and was not able to really dive into it fully. i understand logic x has some great eq and compressors but the ssl seemed much more simpler with its layout and ease of use. please some one give me there opinions since this sale ends very shortly.

oh and buy the way i use all virtual instruments if that matters or not. Thank you.

The plugins in logic are more than good enough! If you are going to get any waves stuff, get the Rcomp and REQ R=Renaissance!:thumbs up:

I do like the ssl channel strip. I like really slick production, so the sheen that the plugin let's you put on things is exactly what I like. The compressor and gate work in a predictable and classic way.

I also use the bus compressor, but not as much.

Basically, the vibe of the channel.strip is clean and clear. Where as other channel strips have a crunchy (api) or warm (neve).

It is really up to you and what you are trying to accomplish.
