Not a big deal. A little bit of snipping and sliding will have it right. I'm super sensitive to those timing issues. It's the thing I struggled with the most in my own bass playing.

Man you really do have a great voice for blues. Jealous I am! Everything sounds really good. Guitars may sound alittle muffled to me though. May need just a hair boost in the uppers. Great job Jimi

Here"s me second swing at this mix. I dessed the vocal and I don't know if I like it better or not. I think the bass drum is better and the guitars are not as muffled.

Love the new mix. Can you A/B the vocals...i.e. steal the settings and what not and have two tracks that you can mute one and hear one?

Thanks H. I trimmed a little flab off the bass guitar with Eq....but I didnt really turn the bass guitar up to compensate. Do you think ots lacking in bottom now?

How nice is that intro...!!! Super. Also love the way the reverb is used on this. The tail coming off the right is great. Wish I knew better how to state what I think I hear, but know - I know what I like and this is really good! Excellent vocals! I always dug the Elvis version, and this is way different yet in many ways similar. Nice job jimi.

I wanted it to sound a little reverby, like those old blues records from the late 50s and 60s. Its kind of tricky to get a tune reverby without it being washed in verb. I'm happy with the reverb on this.

I mix on consumer grade cheap ass stereo speakers so Im not 100% sure on the bottom end sometimes.

Listening on a new set of Focal headphones I got from Mike for my birthday
The mix is good for me - any changes would just be personal preference... everything is clear and easy to pick out individual parts if you want to.
This has a real "live room" sound to it, not reverby, more sitting in the front row kind of sound. The presence of the mix is really appealing to me.
Great blues performance in all regards too!

The reverb is roomy and occasionally the guitars compete but generally this hangs together well.
