I'm using Pro Tools 9, and no matter what I colour my tracks as, they ALWAYS show as black in the mix window. Why? and how can I change this?

Go to preferences and copy my settings for color coding.
I temporarily set default clip color coding to 'none', and it made all the edit window tracks dark grey/black.

It's actually very handy to group things by colour, especially when you're flicking between edit and mix windo....
never mind.

I now call the "Mix Window" "The Art Gallery" since I only switch to it to watch the colorful pretty things.
