Can I do this with 2 powered monitors in my home studio.

Phew! Glad my little homily did not distract you for long and muchos props to Mr S for getting things straight again!

The point is, it is NOTORIOUSLY difficult to acoustically match speakers and two sample, 6 months apart, would likely use different cone batches and be noticeably different.

Even with proper "matched pairs", flip pink noise twixt the two and you would probably have a bit of a shock! Naturally the higher up the food chain you go the better everything gets.

:thumbs up: No problem. Sometimes it takes a while for things to sink in. Can't hardly wait now for that matching or should I say as best as possible matching monitor to come in. Thanks guys
