Those aren't rules, that's just regular stuff, like breathing. But had you listened to the whole thing, or actually understood the advanced concepts that you claim to know, you'd see there's way more to that song than you actually realize. But I won't clue you in. I'll let you learn it for yourself. You might get there one day.
Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, maybe you should focus more on just writing a good song. I've already got it figured out.

I can't believe this guy really plays with anyone. I play in a band and write 99 percent of the material and I play with some damn good musicians, way better than me. If I came across like that I would be out on my own in a heartbeat. They wouldn't put up with that shit for a New York minute.

I wasnt concerned if anybody liked my songs, i posted it to be discussed for it's craft. I can do the same thing with yours. If you chose to show me the lyric you posted before, I know it;s not well crafted, whether I like the song or not.

the only reason you want to hear others music is so you can correct them and tell them how much better you are. I know your kind. I been around the block a few time. You don't last long. I was young once and thought I was hot shit till I went around the block a few times and found out there was someone on every block who could kick my ass. Then I grew up and got learned a bit of humility, and how to work with people, how to be a good musician. You, young man, have a long way to go.
