Simple version.

You've said a drummer can't record to pre recorded guitar/vocal etc.
Grohl did it.

You said drummers can't play to a variable click.
They can.
I've played guitars/pianos/basses to a moving click and I don't see that drums would be any different.

I'll give you that the latter isn't evidence, but it's close enough.

You didnt give me the title of the song in which grohl did it

How many times can u be wrong in a row? Are you going for the record. They spam me every day, they want my money, thyed love to be able to do it
but its not going to work right

You're confused as to why you're getting spammed. They all want your money at first, but it has to be worth the effort. You are clearly incapable of functioning in a collaborative situation, so they bow out.

Then why do they keep sending me offers? 33% off your next track the whole month of July!

I did. Jesus...I even gave you the name of TV show about it.

I'm 99% certain it was 'something in the way'.
If it wasn't that particular track, it's certainly still documented in the classic albums series.

Well go find the name of the song, Lets not play guessing games.

Sure there real, they are a phone call away

Then get off your ass and hook up with them. What's the problem? You're an in-demand "producer". They're spamming you left and right. surely you can put your holier-than-thou bullshit aside long enough to find a drummer for 33% less!

Why? So you can say it doesn't meet you standard?
Good luck contacting the band to let them know.

Video and time reference posted above, and thanks for being considerate with someone who struggles with memory on a day to day basis.
Jerk.

Sounds far too dignified, but OK.

There's no need to kick a dog when he's down. The guy can't play or record music well. His own ego and ideals have stunted him - probably permanently. The help was available, he chose not to hear it.

Just listening to it and drumming on my lap I can hear and feel that it is actually in very good time. The harmonica section speeds up a hair, but it's all close. The little break after the harmonica section is loose and drops out of time, but if you let the music come back in first by itself and then have the drums come in with a little fill it will work out fine. No big deal. I'm not drumming that shit, but I'm telling you as a drummer that that song is no problem whatsoever with no guide track at all. Any competent drummer could have a ball on that thing.

I'm not even a drummer and i could tap it out on my desk just fine. It took me about 10 seconds to get the groove, but I was even putting fills in after a while. And I only listened once. A second time through would be pretty simple. A drummer could do this in his sleep. I was having fun with it before the halfway point. And I don't really like Springsteen.
