Thanx for the comments and suggestions, guys.

Heatmiser, I have a Strat of some kind. It's got a humbucker with a switch to split the coils, and 2 single coils.

Hey, can you guys suggest me some Vox models. I'm looking in E-Bay and they go from 69.99 to 1500 bucks. I want a tube amp, the smallest I can get away with. Like 15 watts or whatever the minimum is to still be able to rock it out. Thanx guys.

Just found the Vox AC-15. Fuck they're expensive. I don't even want to look at the price of an AC-30.

I have a Vox Night Train 15W head. It is very very loud! Right now I can't turn it up loud enough to avoid a crackly preamp stage at mid to high gain settings. I'm going to build an iso box for the cab, then I'll be able to crank it and should get a smoother tone.

They're pretty cheap and have a great tone for the money. You might check out the AC4 if you want something a bit lower power, or even the Li'l Night Train (can't remember how many watts that one is).

Enjoyed that thanks :)
Thanx a lot Cake. :)

Thanx Johny. Maybe a stupid question, but if I bought just a head, would I be able to plug it into the speaker of my Peavey combo? The Peavey has a "Pwr Amp In". That's the only In on the back.

I don't know your amp, but I'd bet that wouldn't work. A tube amp has to "see" a speaker load and the impedance has to match. Without a load, you could potentially pop the output transformer. What you could do though is just disconnect the speaker in your Peavey and wire in a speaker cable and a male 1/4" jack. Then you could connect that to a head and just use your Peavey for the cab/speaker. You'd just need to know what the speaker ohm rating is, and set the new amp to that rating, or use the corresponding output jack.

OK, yeah I didn't think it would be that easy. I'll probably get a combo. That way, I can either sell the Peavey or use it as a practice amp.

The Egnater Rebel and Tweaker are some good low watt amps too. Check on those. Blackstar too. Blackstars are "Marshall" ish for a good price usually. The Blackstar 5h with 1x12 cabs are all over ebay for pretty cheap.

Nice work...I like how your tunes sound like your tunes...pro level, whatever that means ;)

btw the pseudo rap style really suits your vox

Cool. I'll check those out, thanx. I saw a few Blackstar mini-stacks or 1X10 cab., but I just took a quick look for now.

Thanx KC. Yeah "rapping" is a lot easier than singing because you don't have to worry about pitch as much. Maybe that's why everyone and their Gammy thinks they're an MC. :D

I really like the guitar riff that the song is built upon. I love this type of groove. The drums sound superb. Great mix all the way around...professional sounding.
Good job.

Sounds totally pro, Rami ;)
Great harmonies, and I love that guitar tone!
Your comment on the lyrics reminded me of what David Bowie used to do in the early days. He'd cut out newspaper headlines, mix them up and throw them up in the air and see how they landed. Then he'd write lyrics with them. :)

Thanx a million Jimi. I'm probably getting a new amp tomorrow, so I might re-record the guitars on this. I don't mind the tone, but there's still a little Solid State sizzle that's bothering me. I'm getting a tube amp tomorrow and will probably end up re-recording a lot of my guitar tracks.

Thanx Joey. Great to see you here.

I've heard that about Bowie. My lyrics aren't quite that random, but I care more about what I think will sound cool, as opposed to what makes sense, especially in this song. None of the lines in this song have anything to do with each other, and the chorus has nothing to do with the verses. I was going more for a mood than a message. :)

You get a nice growl from that guitar and amp combo RAMI. I've been enjoying life with a small wattage valve amp BUT it def has left me playing/noodling rather than writing/recording.
This song is solid & funky simultanously.
GREAT work.

It's really just a bunch of bullshit.
Aren't those the best?

But seriously I love your lyrics, there awesome. All the in sentencence rhyme (if thats a term) is really nice to listen to. And I think it really helps with getting your frustration coming out of my speaker.

Nice song! Can't say anything about the mix, laptopspeakers.

Drums are great, easy groove all song long and nice powerfull fills. Nice syncing with the guitar riff, I like that! I like the effect you did at the Big Brother part. Gives the vocals a lot more power. I might consider

Thanx a lot Ray. I didn't mind the sound I had at the time you posted, but I've re-recorded the guitar since then. Bought a new amp on the weekend and re-did some guitar on this today.

I'm loving that sweet breakdown after the second chorus. Tasty.

No criticism here. Love the tune and the mix sounds great! Drums are perfect.
