^ Thanks Ron! :)

Glad you liked what I did with your shots! Might still do one or two more if I get up the gumption to work on them some more. Each one take me a couple of hours to do as I work pretty slowly and carefully to cut out the mixer from each image and then try to create a complimentary background and numerous other tweaks to clean up each shot.

Anyone else got some some TASCAM or TEAC gear that they want to see added to this thread? Take some decent pics and send them off to me. Don't be shy.

Cheers! :)

:thumbs up:

One more from Doon's vintage TEAC collection of gear. This one, the 4010 SL. I've seen a few versions of this deck, some as a 1/4 track stereo and another as a quad deck, perhaps making that one an early forerunner the wildly popular 3340!

Anyway, had to do a bit of extra processing on this one as the original shot had some pretty nasty light reflections on the brushed steel part of the front panel. But I figured out a way to deal with that which will hopefully look fairly natural.

Like the penthouse extension. I had already thought that that area would be great for a small rack. Someplace handy, to mount the outboard gear. But in reality, it might be too far back for ease of access.

The 'Penthouse Rack' could be very useful for installation of items that you need/want but don't actually have reason to change all that often. If you wanted to have dedicated meters on AUX sends or something, you could mount that there or perhaps a bus compressor. Additionally, it would make a good place for gear that is run via a remote like a reverb. With the patch bay below it though, I would give some serious thought to mounting a power conditioner that has the pull out lights.

So many options... Having seen how your board looks with the adjacent patchbay I'm thinking I may want to do that as well with my M3700.

Agree sr71rules I have considered a way to get my Art SP 4x4 with the light pulls above the patch bays.

Tsr-8?

Hey, um, do you think you could fancy up a 1920x1080 TSR-8 shot? I would be ever grateful.

A member or two here has offered to submit some images to me for me to do that but no one has followed through on their offers. And that goes for a few other similar offers here too! :(

Cheers! :)

I could take a shot of mine and maybe you could fancy it up for me....?
If I did, where would I post it, it would be a decent size file as I'll take it full rez with my good camera...

You can email it to me at jeffpeletz "at" sympatico.ca

A nice head on, centered level shot without any camera flash would be good!

Thanks in advance. :)

Cheers! :)

I didn't want to name any names but thanks for acknowledging that. The 42 shots would be appreciated when you have a chance. ;)

Cheers! :)

Much thanks to mamm7215 for sending me a couple of pics of his TSR-8!

Here's what I managed to put together with them!
