Ok then. I'll look into it. I just re-strung my bass for the second time in ten years so maybe I'll re-track that part. Lol. Thanks queepy.

another belter mate....overall it had a kinda garage band/cramps feel to it...I liked the reversed vocals, clever

all sounded great to me

Sounds good to me over the dime-size speakers here at work. Nice vox with "feel-good" lyrics and infectious g.
 
Bass is boring? Well maybe for punk it can be a bit boring, but really don't go around saying that too loud on TalkBass forums !

Bass is boring. I'll say it anywhere and to anyone. I don't care what some mouth-breather, knuckle-dragging, drooling bassists think. I bet 9 times out of 10 I can do what they do, while they can't do what I do.

I played stand-up and electric bass in that same psychobilly band I mentioned earlier. Tons of walks, scales, slapping triplets, and all that shit at high speed. Still boring.
 
Sounds great on my KRKs and sub. Non-stop frieght train of chugging goodness. Love the 'invade your cave' line lol - made my day :-) I might have to fan you lol.
 
Sounds good as usual Greg... but this one seemed a lot more prestine than normal. you got a GREAT tone for those guitars.

i thought the voice sat a bit high in the mix, but was captured well... very clear.

good song.

Bass, well I'm a boring bass player & I find bass players who try not to be boring even more boring.
When a bassists see themselves as a solo/lead instrument player the song suffers.
I like this song.
I like the bass in this song (if it were a little louder I'd like it even morererere).

I agree. I value good bass playing, but not over-the-top bass playing. I like simple bass, I like fancy bass, but it's gotta fit the song either way. I'm playing with a guy right now that's way too simple and basic, but it's better than being too complex, and he's a good guy, so it's cool.
 
More straight to the point, no-nonsense nonsense, Greg. Very enjoyable. Not much to say technically - sounded great on my monitors. Enjoyed the cave comment!
