Right, so I've just bought the following:
Millenium MPS100 edrum
EZ drummer
This has just been added to my normal recording setup of
FP10
Cubase SX
Which works fine for recording audio. After a couple of hours I've managed to get the Edrums and Toontrack solo (stand alone host for EZ drummer) to work, but I can't figure out how to set up Cubase to read the edrums and EZ drummer. I've never used MIDI before, so please could you help!
Also, is it possible to reassign sounds from EZ drummer in Cubase. My normal drum set up is one rack tom and two crash cymbals and the default on the MPS100 is two rack toms and one crash cymbal. While I can amend sounds in the MPS100 brain to my liking, I can't do this in ez drummer. I'm hoping there's some work around in cubase for this (either real time or post recording?)
Any and all help would be great as I'm totally lost at the moment!
