gag ....... It doesn't have ANY of his requirements except loud ..... well, a passable clean.
But it's a solid state amp and sounds like a solid state amp.
The OP wants something with power scaling of some sort so he can drive the power tubes and get some power tube distortion. You can't get that outta the G.K. at all since it has no power tubes.
I've played thru one of those ..... neat little amp for what it is but lacking what the OP said he wants.
And there's a reason the one you have gets little use.
You've mentioned before some nice tube amps you have around. No one ever says, "Oh ..... let me use that G.K. instead" do they?

I'm of mixed emotions about it. OTOneH, I've gotten lots of use out of mine, as a grab-and-go amp, and I have seen others get lots of use- GK makes a very similar model that is basically a mini-PA/acoustic guitar amp that a trumpet player in New Orleans used for his French Market gig for years- I tried to find him to buy it, pre-Katrina, but had no luck. After Katrina, I didn't even try...
