Well it has been some time since this event, I recently dug out the victims from my stash. To my surpise the BR-20's only damage was the cut cord and the right hand reel table had shifted in on its shaft. I readjusted it and cleaned it up a bit and noticed the heads have very little wear. It is a 1995 year model. The 2 VU meter lights are burnt out, this machine must have been powered up but never really used. I put on a roll of tape and it works great. An LED is out but I can change that when I change the VU lights. Now the 42B on the other hand has the back panels bent. I am going to try to straighten them. I have never even plugged in this machine yet, when this happened I just gave up on them knowing some day I would attemp a repair. If the 42B still works despite the huge G force it was subject to I will be amazed. I will post updates as I procede.

PS E-bays really stands behind it members, I got a 100% refund for the 42B and the BR20 they let me keep. I didnt get my $120 back for the shipping box but that is fine. I think I scored a deal despite the shipping damage.
